The focus of the Publications Committee was a review of the role of monographic publications in the ACMLA. This process, which was headed by Betty Kidd, included a survey of the membership and has resulted in a report, Review of Monographic Publication Program with Recommendations for the Future, prepared by Betty. The Review will be discussed at the open meeting of the Publications Committee at CARTO 2002.
I wish to give special thanks to Betty Kidd for all her work on this project.

Catalogue of Canadian Fire Insurance Plans: A union list for Canadian collections. This major work is on the verge of publication after extensive work by Cheryl Woods and Lorraine Dubrule. Publication is expected later this year.
